Growpod App
To supplement the physical growing stand, I created an application to guide the user through the process of home farming. The app takes you from picking seeds to harvesting with a comprehensive weekly calendar.
Planting Interface
In order to grow different seeds at the same time, they need to have the same growth timetable. I programmed in a lock that only lets you select seeds with the same profile, if a dissimilar seed is selected, the option briefly turns red and a message lets the user know that the seed is incompatible.
The App also comes with functionality for a Bluetooth-enabled water level sensor, Which will give the user an accurate reading of plant health over each growth period.
