Typographic Furniture
The Times New Roman comma becomes a silhouette for a reading collection. Typography jumps off the page, becoming a physical interaction.
Moon Lamp
The Comma lamp is designed to be the opposite of the white sherpa chair. Its main structure is draped in black sherpa, giving it a soft texture that contrasts with the frosted glass sphere that holds the bulb. The color temperature of the lamp was very important to me, so I chose a 60-watt amber LED bulb. I wanted to get a soft warm quality to the light.
Flow Table
The Comma side table is designed to be flat packed and easy to assemble. There are no screws or fasteners, the pieces pressure fit together like Lego bricks. There are two levels, a shelf at the middle of the base and the table at the top. The table cantilevers over the base do distribute weight evenly.
Cloud Chair
The Comma chair is designed as one continuous flow of sherpa fleece over a wooden structure. The ergonomic design of the chair merges the armchair with a workstation. The wooden legs are unpainted to make the upholstered shape stand out, and show the material design underneath. The arms of the chair are thick and pillowy to provide dimension to the comma and comfort to the sitter.
