Growpod is a hydroponic desk lamp for growing microgreens. Built for home spaces, its unique shape is three times more efficient than a standard flat growing plot of the same countertop area. Diagonal pockets line all sides of the 3d printed horseshoe shaped pod, and provide one unbroken ribbon of planting space. Lining the inside of the pod, capillary mats draw water up to all levels of plants evenly. The grow lamp in the center of the Growpod helps the darker interior surface grow, while ambient light from a window will tend to the outer layer. Growpod takes a week to produce a full Tupperware of microgreens ranging in anything from radishes to broccoli to kale or peas. Pods are stackable on the wooden base making the platform scalable to any size of home growing operation.

Growpod is made entirely out of recyclable materials. The horseshoe is food safe and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
